Dukes owner writes............

Duke is looking for a new forever home he will be 7 years old on 3rd March 2022. He is micro-chipped and up to date with his vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. He has no medical conditions. He is house trained I have never had any 'accidents' from him.
Duke is a lovely cat I love him very much and will miss him dearly but I have had numerous visits from neighbours over the past few weeks saying that he has been attacking other cats in the area (we have numerous cats in the area). He is such a well behaved boy at home and loves to snuggle of an evening on the sofa next to you. He would be happy in a home with lots of space, either a large garden or fields close by as he is mainly an outdoor cat and somewhere with not many other cats in the area. A single pet household would be ideal. He loves the sunshine and will stay out day and night just coming back for food in summer but when it's cold and raining his bed is his best friend. He can be a funny little chap and loves to play.
He was one of my Daughters three cats, my Daughter died 2019 I managed to rehome two of the cats but Duke has been with me since. I am the legal guardian of my grandson who came to live with me when he was two years old when my Daughter died, and as a single 72 year old I'm finding it increasingly stressful to look after them both especially after the neighbours complaining I have had to keep him indoors and he is getting very depressed.

A donation rehoming fee to the BCA Welfare fund of £100 applies
