Blue
Blue came into our care due to her owner moving and being unable to take the cat with her.
Blue has enjoyed the freedom to come and go in a village location. She enjoys the great outdoors, but will also benefit from a bit of extra time given to her indoors.
Blue is a very sweet and lovable cat. Whilst shy at first, Blue has now settled well into her foster pen and has closely bonded with her fosterer. Indeed, after hiding for the first few days, Blue now loves getting petted, and is always waiting at the door to greet her fosterer and enjoy a fuss. She especially appreciates a tickle on her chin and cheeks, and often rolls about on her back, purring her little head off! It is likely that Blue will thrive in a home with one owner, and we feel she will form a very close bond with this trusted person. A quiet and calm home would suit Blue best, as she is easily startled by loud noises, and is wary of new people. Whilst not the most confident of cats around strangers, once Blue gets to know and trust you, you will have a friend for life.
With a little time and patience, and a lot of love, this little cat will really come out of her shell and show just how affectionate and loving she is. Blue is always gentle, and has never shown any signs of aggression, instead choosing to run away and hide when something frightens her. A cardboard box or igloo bed would be useful as a quiet area for Blue to retreat to when she gets overwhelmed. Over time, she will likely get used to the noises and routine of the household and gain even more confidence. The reward of your patience will be unlocking this adorable little cat, who is really so sweet and loving once she trusts you.
