Ava & Amber
Two stunning Brown Spotted 3 year Bengal sisters.

They are vaccinated and neutered.

Their owner says....

We are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for our lovely bengal sisters Amber and Ava.

Amber and Ava are 3 year old littermates who we’ve had since they were kittens. Sadly we feel unable to shower them with the attention they deserve and as they are a bonded pair we do not want to separate them.

Ava is the most affectionate and loving little lady. She is incredibly tolerant of any kind of pets. She’ll also roll over for belly rubs.

Amber loves a cuddle and will follow you around the house, wanting to be involved in whatever you do.

Both are very vocal and it feels like you can have “conversations” with them. We love that when we come home they are sat waiting for us in the window and then religiously greet us as we come through the door.

Unfortunately Amber started to have some behavioural issues, we think partly due to jealousy of the new baby, this has manifested as overgrooming and spraying our furniture and doors which isn’t ideal when we’re trying to keep the house clean for a baby. Our home also needs some serious building work which will take months to complete. As they are strictly house cats this will be an awful environment for them as we’d have to confine them to one room for months as our home will be open to the elements and we don’t think Amber could cope with the disruption and change.

They get along together well for the most part but there has been a little more friction recently as we’ve been unable to play with them as much and it seems Amber has a higher play drive, wanting to play fight with Ava when Ava isn’t interested. Even if they have a little squabble you’ll later find them cuddled up together or grooming each other.

They both have experience of going out in the garden with harnesses and leads and enjoy pottering about and playing. Ava is allergic to bee stings though and has not learned this lesson therefore they will definitely need to be supervised when outside and should not be made to be outdoor cats.

We have lots of toys and furniture that we’d be very happy to go with them, they love their Cazami cat wheel.

We are devastated that we can’t give them what they need but with all the different factors we think this is the best option for them to have a less stressful and more fulfilling life. Ideally we’d like them to go to a home with experience of cats, and not have to travel far to their new home as they’re house cats and they have limited experience of travelling in vehicles. If possible we’d love to be updated occasionally with what’s going on in their lives and for reassurance that they’re happy in their new home.

Both are spayed, and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments.
