Misty and Milly came to the rescue as their owner was being evicted. They are very shy girls who need time to feel comfortable around strangers. Misty is a longhaired grey cat, she came to us with several large matts in her fur, so she will need regular grooming to ensure this doesn't happen again. She is the braver of the two, and will now say hello to the staff she knows here and ask to be fussed. Milly is a shorthaired white cat with small tabby patches, she is less keen on contact, but likes to sit by the door of her pen and make tiny meows to say hello. They would do best in a quiet home with just one or two people, where they can settle in at their own pace.

They cannot live with pets apart from each other, as Milly won't tolerate anyone besides Misty. It's not essential that they be homed together; we don't think they would mind going separately.
