Zo - RESERVED
Gentle boy Zo came into our care following dermatitis that needed treatment. Having been living as part of a colony for some time Zo had become cautious of humans.
It quickly became clear this six year old boy had a home once and went from living as an abandoned, unneutered, owned cat to joining a colony (who neutered him) purely for practical purposes; a guaranteed daily meal. He’s made great progress with both health and around our volunteers and it’s time this lovely boy found a special home of his own. He is fully vaccinated and has had a necessary dental extraction. He’ll need vet grade flea and worming treatment applied every 4 weeks (which is recommended for all cats) to help with a flea allergy but this lovely boy is ready for his forever home.
Zo can still be a little wary but this sweet, gentle boy will flourish in a calm, settled home. He very much enjoys company and when he is relaxed with you he enjoys lots of fuss and strokes. Zo would be best suited in an adult-only home as the only pet to give him the chance to truly understand he has a home of his own and gain confidence and security in doing so at his own pace.
Zo is being fostered in Belvedere, DA17.
Adopting a cat can be one of the most rewarding life experiences, but before you decide to welcome a cat into your home, please ensure you are ready for the commitment. Please read our tips and pre-requisites before you contact us about adopting.
Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when a particular cat receives an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers may only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
