Manfield has been living as a stray in a supermarket car park for some time and came to us after concerned staff managed to befriend him.  He has definitely had an owner before as he is used to human contact. Manfield is quite chatty and will definitely lets his displeasure be known if you're a few minutes late with his dinner! He has his own house rules; he doesn't jump on the bed or dining table but with encouragement he will come and sit with you on the sofa. He is a friendly boy but knows his limits and will tell you when he's had enough of a fuss.  He isn;t really a lap cat but loves company and will happily sleep next to you.  In time he may slowly find his way onto a lap. He must be the only animal in the house and will need an indoor home with access to the outside.
UPDATE: We heard that Manfield, renamed Ebenezer, sadly died suddenly with heart failure spring 2023. He'd found a wonderful home and family. Rest in peace, lad.
