HERBIE the wonderful
Gentle, loving and all-round wonderful

21.45pm one cold & dark saturday evening my life changed. Two lovely ladies from Willows arrived to help me. I’d been living rough for a at least a year, being fed by another kindly lady but she couldn't give me permanent shelter. The black on my fur was oil from sheltering under cars. My ears were riddled with mites. Not neutered. But worst of all my eyes were, and still are, damaged because they didn’t get the treatment needed when I was living on the street and belonged to no-one. Now I have permanent restricted sight in one of my eyes. I  have received Vet treatment ever since arriving at Willows. I’m also on a hypo-allergenic diet.

I was once someone’s, and somehow become no-one’s.  I haven’t let my terrible life on the streets make me bitter. I am gentle, loving and just WONDERFUL say Willows. My foster mammy sits with me in the evenings and reads my library books to me, and I stretch out, cuddled up sucking her dressing gown.

Because of my restricted sight, I must be an indoor cat. I have survived outdoors lucky not to be run over. Maybe my forever human(s) could build me a catio so I can feel the breeze and smell the air whilst staying safe.

I’m looking for a settled, financially secure selfless person willing to give me a wonderful life. A quiet mature indoor home with the possibility of a catio.
