Maisie & Mimi
Maisie and her daughter Mimi came to the rescue in winter, when Mimi was just a small kitten. We believe they were dumped in the cold. Mimi was missing her tail, though the vet thinks she was likely born with one, and lost it through an accident later. Because of this Mimi has had some issues with prolapses, but this has improved significantly as she's grown, and she now lives a happy normal life (though to be on the safe side, we would prefer her to remain an indoor cat).

They are a very entertaining double act, who want to climb and explore everywhere, and eat everything! Neither seems to have outgrown their cheeky kittenish streak yet. Maisie is an affectionate lap cat, while Mimi is more of an independent adventurer. They get along well together, cuddling up and grooming each other, and must be homed as a pair.

These girls deserve a special home, and we're amazed that such lovely cats are still waiting at the rescue. They have already had two failed adoptions through no fault of their own, and will be wonderful pets for the right person.
