Baz
When I first saw Baz and his brother Alfie and sister Libby their eyes were still blue, so they weren't quite five weeks old. They had been born outside to their equally beautiful mother, Emmy, who had been fortunate enough to have landed in a garden where the residents took pity on her and her little family, providing them with food. That kindness did its work and right from the start Baz decided people were really okay, showing little fear when handled even for the first time. He's a real little charmer, for sure - an affectionate, confident, wee knee-hugger who's quite impossible not to love. His foster mum, Linda, says Baz is always the first to greet her, keen for fun time and a cuddle, although his siblings are catching up fast. But that's not all! Ever keen to help, Baz has sussed out that Linda needs to feel useful so he very considerately waits until she's just finished cleaning the litter tray before promptly using it again. Thankfully, his brother and sister follow Baz's excellent example vis a vis the litter tray by immediately jumping in to show their appreciation. Given his confident personality, Baz could be homed on his own but we think he would love to have an accepting big brother or sister to play with. He can be homed with gentle school aged children and probably an equally gentle dog, and would really appreciate access to a safe outdoor area, away from busy roads, once he's neutered and very well settled. In common with all the cats and kittens who come into our care, Baz has been fully vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Although the biggest of the three siblings, he hasn't yet reached the minimum weight to be neutered (2kg) so if he is homed before reaching that weight we do ask for proof once the operation has been carried out.
