Hello, my name is Boris. I am 7 years old and have spent many years living as a stray.

When I came into Cats Protection, they saw I had many broken teeth, due to fighting. They arranged for me to be neutered and to have my teeth removed.

While I was living as a stray, people would scare me away as they didn’t want me around. Years of this has made me wary of people, so I sometimes react by hissing. But this is just a reflex reaction.

When my fosterers come to see me, I will come out of my pod to see them, and I enjoy having a fuss. But when you come, I may just hide. Please don’t hold this against me, it just takes me a little while to trust people.

Because of this, I am looking for a home that is happy to give me the time and space to get to know and trust you. In time I will reward you with lots of love.

I am looking for an indoor only home with no cats and no dogs. I think a home with older children would be best, so they understand I might not want to play right away.

I have been neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
