Sophie is a seal tortiepoint Ragdoll female cat, with the most appealing blue eyes. She is in beautiful condition and is just 12 years young.
Sophie has come into our care as her lifetime elderly owner could no longer look after her. She has not been at all fazed by this change to her living circumstances and she has settled into her foster home well.  Sophie is a girl that likes to be fussed and adored, and she thoroughly enjoys her beautiful silky coat being groomed, so much so that she almost demands a daily brush and will even roll over for her tummy to be brushed. She will also let you know when you can stop the grooming session. She loves human company and will happily follow you about the house to ensure you stay close. 
Ragdolls are known to be quite docile and trusting cats and this makes their little ‘purr-sonalities’ even more endearing, but also means that they are not very streetwise! They will not realise the danger of roads, often choosing to lie in the path of an oncoming car, expecting it to stop for them! For this reason, Ragdolls are usually kept as indoor cats but Sophie has been used to going outside as she previously lived in a very quiet close with little or no traffic.We are therefore looking for a home with a large garden in a quiet, maybe rural area.
Sophie is not used to living with children but as she is a friendly and socialable girl, we feel she will be fine in a home with older children.  Although she has previously lived with another cat, she is not too keen on his company so she maybe better as the only cat in the home this time.  She has also has no history of living with a dog.
