Courtney is a beautiful sleek black cat with huge green eyes and around 6 years of age.. She arrived with us in a bit of a pickle. Having had a few too many little jumping visitors she had very sore skin. But now she’s looking rather lovely and has taken very well to the Mediterranean diet (sprinkle of olive oil keeps her skin soft).

So now fully recovered from her problems Courtney is ready to find her furr-ever home. She is very friendly and adores company and has become quite into Radio 1 – keeps her company whilst her foster family aren’t about. Although she hides at first when she meets new people, it takes very little time before she comes out from hiding to see what is going on. She’s a very curious cat. Courtney also loves to chat and will happily hold a meowing conversation with anyone who will join in. She loves to play with a dangly toy and is very quick – we suspect she would be quite a mouser given half a chance.

She isn’t a lap cat, but loves to be around or near people. Sit down and she’ll sit next to you! However, she does not want to be with other cats or dogs.

Occasional flare up of her skin irritation is easily resolved with a few days of steroid tablets. Just half a tablet crushed into her food every day for a week settles it down, This has only happened a couple of times in the last 4 months so it not a huge problem. The Branch can pay for the steroid tablets if required.

Being such a sociable cat, Courtney is ready to find her ‘furrever’ home and will make someone a lovely companion – is that someone you ???
