Toby
Toby is a lovely large but gentle 7 year old male cat with a thick pale ginger and white coat. He is a cat who likes human interaction but loves to spend a lot of his time by himself and not to be too fussed over. He is very skilled at making himself a cosy nest out of his blanket where he will spend time snoozing until you encourage him out to give him a stroke and a head scratch, which he is happy to receive. He prefers periods of stroking and affection to be kept fairly brief. He has had quite a lot of change in his life and is now looking for his forever home with someone who is looking for a more independent cat, rather than a lap-loving cuddly cat. He will need minimal interaction in his first days with you and needs to be allowed to come to you when he's ready. Once he learns that he can trust you he is a lovely cat and will be a good companion. When he is not snuggled up in his blanket he really enjoys being outside.
