Melvin deserves a loving home. He was with his family until the new boyfriend was allergic to cats!!  As a result he went to another member of the family.  Unfortunately there were 2 very large dogs here that chased him.  He got out of the house and disappeared.  He stayed around the new property, but was afraid to get close because of the dogs.
He was out on his own for 2 weeks so lost quite a bit of weight and became very hungry.  With the aid of a trap from us he was caught and brought to our shelter.  He was quite nervous at first after all his ordeals but soon came very friendly when he knew he had good food, shelter and was safe.
