Duke

Hello Duke here.

I arrived at the centre when sadly my owners ill health meant they were struggling to care for me.

My first few days here I was a little quiet and shy but I have now settled and am a little cuddle bug.

Staff love my breathy purr and when I am having a fuss I dribble and give lots of head bumps.

At 4 years old I am a handsome lad with a lot of love to give.

My favourite thing isn't toys or treats, its cuddles. Although I have not particularly been a lap cat at the centre, I'm too much of a fidget, I have a lot to learn and new thing to discover.

A home with older teenagers would be best for me because children frighten me and I get scared and run away.

I have lived with small dogs in my previous home and I did enjoy playing with them so I could be homed with a cat friendly dog.

Cats I am a little more unsure of. I was picked on a bit in my previous home, at the centre I have shown some wary interest in some of the cats. Because of this I could be tried with another cat friendly cat in the home.

If you think your home needs a Duke please contact the centre and ask about me. D x
