Elmo is 17 years old and sadly finds herself in search of a new loving forever home. She’s recently had a full check up and blood tests and is in good health. She also had a dental and doesn’t have many teeth left now but this doesn’t stop her enjoying her food.

Elmo is a sweet, independent, and sassy old lady. She is vocal when she wants attention (or food) but will let you know when she has had enough with a gentle bite or a loud meow.

She enjoys lounging most of the time on her bed but does have a playful side. Chasing things on a string or tackling a cat toy gets her going when she is active. She likes her space and does not enjoy cuddling but will request a lot of pets throughout the day. Overall, she is a great kitty to keep you company. She’s looking for an understanding adopter willing to open their home and heart to her in her golden years.

We are looking for an indoor only retirement home for Elmo. She doesn’t like other cats and will need to be the only pet in the home. Elmo is looking for an adult only home.

She is currently a little overweight and her adopter needs to be committed to not overfeeding her.
