Topsy
Three year old black and white beauty Topsy is a new arrival at Catcuddles. Topsy is looking for a forever home of her own where she will be a central part of her new family as the only pet in a home with very safe outdoor access.

Topsy is initially shy, but we are already finding her to be a friendly girl. She does needs time to get used to you and start to trust your and would like a calm environment to settle in. This includes a dedicated, clutter free ‘bonding room’, which is especially important for her to settle into initially.

Topsy has previously been dominant towards other resident cats and is not used to dogs, so she must be the only pet in her new home. Topsy would prefer a calm, relaxed environment without major changes planned. In the right circumstances she could live with a quiet, gentle child who is used to living with cats and understands how to be respectful and gentle towards them.

Topsy needs a home with a quiet back garden to explore, in a safe location away from busy roads. A network of terraced back gardens to explore away from any possibility street access is essential. She will need to have a catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home. We would recommend a microchip catflap to avoid any unwanted guests.

Topsy will be seeing our vet in the coming week for a health check and vaccinations. In the meantime we are being strict with her food, and keeping any treats to a minimum, as Topsy does need to lose a little weight.
