New arrival Groucho is a handsome black and white boy. He is looking for a new home as his family are moving to accommodation where pets are not allowed. At ten years’ old, unusually for an owned cat, he was unneutered. He has now been neutered at our new cat clinic, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet.

Groucho is a chatty boy who enjoys the company of his humans. His hobbies include eating, sleeping and watching the world go by from the comfort of a window sill. The window sill also provides him with a comfy spot to snooze in sun puddles!

This laid back boy will let you know when he’s ready for fuss and attention, but is keen to know what you are doing, so he is looking for a home where there is someone ordinarily home during the day, perhaps working from home or semi-retired. Groucho could live in a home with older children as long as they are calm and respectful towards him.

Most recently Groucho has been living in an indoor home, however he would love a quiet, private garden to call his own. A terraced home with a network of gardens and no possibility to reach the street would be ideal. Groucho will need to have a catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home. We would recommend a microchip catflap to avoid any unexpected guests.
