Young tuxedo boy Butley was found living as a stray, fending for himself, roaming through gardens trying to find space to call his own Entering the territory of other cats in search of food, he wasn’t looking for any trouble, just food and shelter. 

After taking steps to establish Butley was sadly a stray, the kind hearted, generous samaritans who found him took him to the vet where they discovered he was not microchipped, nor was he neutered. Fortunately Butley was found to be FIV negative. He is in great health and is ready to find his forever home.

Butley is estimated to be no more than a year old. Now neutered and no longer needing to fend for himself and defend his territory from other cats , Butley is still a little wary of his surroundings but in time this sweet, gentle boy will flourish in a calm, settled home. Butley has been through a lot already in his young life, so for now he would be best suited in an adult-only home as the only pet to give him the chance to truly understand he has a home of his own and gain confidence and security in doing so at his own pace.

Butley will need a home with a nice back garden for him to explore in a safe location with no easy access to the road (a terraced network would be ideal) and will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home and a litter tray available inside at all times.

Butley is being fostered at our South London hub in Abbey Wood, SE2.
