Trixie - RESERVED
11 year old Trixie is a very, very friendly cat who craves company. She is feisty, playful and energetic and would be content in both a spacious indoor home or one with outdoor access. The most important thing for her is company; she likes to have people close by, and can never get enough attention but does need plenty of space to play in and burn off some energy.

The past few months have been difficult for Trixie, as she has been diagnosed with hepatitis. She is now receiving treatment for this and her health is improving. Trixie also has a heart murmur (grade 3 of 6). She will need a blood test in the coming weeks to check her liver levels and regular, ongoing health checks once she is in a comfortable, loving, forever home. Trixie is currently eating food to support her liver, which can easily be purchased from the vet or online. As well as taking out suitable pet insurance, her adopter should be financially comfortable to also cover the costs of having a cat with health conditions.

The most important factor for Trixie’s forever home is one who is looking for a loving companion. Trixie’s forever home should have no children and no other pets.

Anyone adopting an indoor cat from us needs to be committed to creating a safe, enriching indoor environment, including cat proofing windows that will be opened, and cat proofing a balcony if there is one. If the home has a garden in a safe location there will need to be a catflap in place or one installed within four weeks of adoption. We can advise on all this.
