Beautiful black and white girl Sunshine is eleven years’ old. A much loved cat, she has lived with her family since she was a kitten, and travelled with them to the UK from Dubai three years ago. She has come to Catcuddles as she has not adjusted a new arrival in the family. In recent months she has become withdrawn as a result of being unable to adjust to the baby’s arrival, and for this reason, it is important that her forever home is one without any children and with none planned in the future. 

Sunshine is a small, lithe cat who is very sweet once she trusts you, but at present she is understandably confused and it will take time and patience for her to relax. When she is uncertain Sunshine may swipe and she does not respond well to sudden, unexpected noises or a lot of visitors, so she will certainly need an experienced, patient adopter willing to help her slowly settle in at her pace to her quiet, adult-only forever home as a solo pet.

Once she has shed her uncertainty and regained her confidence, we believe she will be a fantastic cat in the right environment. It's just a matter of being calm, patient and understanding with her, and teaching her to trust one step at a time, and so for this reason an experienced, adult-only home is a must for Sunshine. Sunshine will thrive in a calm, structured environment , with no major changes planned. A routine will give this sweet, sensitive girl the routine and comfort she needs. 

Sunshine is looking for a home with a quiet garden to explore, in a safe location away from busy roads. A network of back gardens to explore away from busy roads would be ideal. She will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home. 

If the home otherwise meets her needs, Sunshine may be happy in a settled, spacious indoor home (2+ bedrooms), with a balcony that can be fully catproofed with netting.
