Milly
Milly’s previous family took her in after her owner passed away. After a year, following a change in circumstances in this home, three year old Milly is now at Catcuddles.

Whilst in our care Milly has been neutered and had eye removal surgery due to a suspected melanoma. Whilst no growths were found and she is a young cat, this will need to be monitored by the vet at her health checks. Milly has also had a partial tail amputation, which has healed well.

Milly enjoys fuss on her terms. She will curl in your lap but will let you know when she’s had enough. This might be a warning swipe or initiating a bite, you do learn her cues and it’s just a case of getting to know each other and give time to slowly build up trust with her. You just need to be confident to disengage with her if she does come for a nibble.

Milly very much loves playtime and it’s a great way to bond with her. She also enjoys human company but just needs to feel safe and that her boundaries are being respected, and when you have gained her trust she's the cheekiest funniest little character. She chats most of the time and has a range of little chirrups and meows, and she loves looking out the patio window.

Milly spends most of the day sleeping or sitting and watching, occasionally padding around to have a sniff of things. She will enjoy being safely introduced to the outside if the environment is suitable. Milly is ideally looking for a home with a quiet garden to explore, or a catproofed garden or catio. A network of back gardens to explore away from busy roads with no chance of leaving the garden network is crucial and she will need to be kept inside from dusk until dawn. Milly will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption.

Milly has been through a lot already at a tender age so she would love nothing more than to find an experienced, calm and settled home where she can be loved and cherished.

If you believe you can provide Milly with the forever home she needs please let us know and we would be happy to discuss her further with you.

Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when a particular cat receives an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers may only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
