Tuxedo boy Felix was found living as a stray, fending for himself, roaming through gardens trying to find space to call his own. This went on for years until he came to the attention of his benefactor who organised for him to be neutered and worked with him to gain his trust; over time being rewarded with purrs.

Felix is at least five years old. Now safe, warm and dry in foster he no longer needs to fend for himself or defend his territory from other cats , Felix is a quiet, gentle boy who will flourish in a calm, settled home. With our volunteers Felix is slowly becoming comfortable in their company.

Felix needs a quiet, understanding home with a patient adopter to help coax him out of his shell over time; to teach him how to be bold and confident, and most importantly, how to be loved. Felix would be best suited in an adult-only home as the only pet to give him the chance to truly understand he has a home of his own and gain confidence and security in doing so at his own pace.

Once he is comfortable and settled and no sooner than six to eight weeks, Felix will need a home that is spacious inside and has a nice back garden for him to explore in a safe location. He will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home and a litter tray available inside at all times.

Felix is being fostered at our South London hub in Abbey Wood, SE2.
