Glen
Our longest cat in care to date and when you red his story we can't understand why.
Glen was found by a couple visiting the area on holiday, he was obvious to them, by the distressed state he was in, in a field beside a caravan park, way out in the sticks. He was very hungry and very frightened. After a night in a caravan, he was taken to the vets as he was quite lame on his front leg.

What the vets found was shocking and infuriating, Glen had been shot some weeks ago with a shot gun. The humerus on his front leg had been severed and had incorrectly healed, riding over itself, he also had many pellets still in his body. In the early days it was feared that this leg may need to be amputated. It was decided to leave the pellets in place as to remove them may cause more soft tissue damage and they didn't now seem to be worrying him.
Some weeks on, we are pleased to say that Glen is doing really well and seems to be coping with his leg as it is and the vets say it needs no further medical attention.
We feel he is now ready to find that perfect home, where he will be safe and able to enjoy life again.

This is a cat who really deserves a chance and a home after all he's been through.
But he will need to be in a rural location where there are not many other cats about. He really does not like dogs either!
So he needs to be the only pet in his next home and perhaps not with young children. A couple or single person would be ideal. All he needs is a cosy bed, good food and a bit of company.
He is a very friendly cat and quite a character.

If you think you can offer Glen the home he craves, please get int ouch.
