Cookie
Cookie is an 8 year old cat, who has come into care because she couldn't get on with the dog in her home.
She has always lived in a village location and as the only pet, prior to the dog arriving.
She has been used to a quiet life and lots of attention. She would suite a retirement home or a single owner where she can once again enjoy lots of TLC. She is a very friendly and affectionate cat who enjoys plenty of human company, but she likes it on her terms! She has been used to visits to the garden, which she greatly enjoys. Her next home will need to offer her a private and secure garden and away from roads, perferably in a village or rural location or edge of town.
From what we have observed of Cookie whilst in our care, we think she would be best kept as the only cat and no dogs around. She would not suite a home with young children. She has enjoyed lap sitting with us with lots of kneeding and purring. She does occassioanlly do little love nips on your hand or arm, but so very gently and only to express how much she likes you. Her habit is to move quickly and this can alarm those not used to cats. With Cookie the saying "Keep calm and carry on" really goes down well.
