LEXI

Lexie was dropped into one of our vets by a lady who had been feeding her. She is now in a foster home and this is what they say about her:

"Due to lock-down we've had Lexie for a while now, and she has gone from strength to strength while living in our foster home.  Her coat is thick and shiny and super soft, she could even do with losing a tiny bit of weight! She likes to supplement her breakfasts and dinners with treats from the neighbours and self-caught mice, she is very resourceful. She has beautiful white whiskers and piercing eyes, a white 'bib' in the front, a white stripe down her tummy and the cutest little white socks - she's really very pretty!

Though she is a small cat, she has a loud purr and great confidence. As she has been with us for so long she's been allowed to go outside, and has immediately become the ring leader of the other cats in our street. We even saw her chasing a fox, and several big dogs in the park - she is completely fearless. But behind all that scrappy-ness, she is a real softy. She loves a fuss while purring loudly, wants to know what you're up to, even follows you into the loo and comes and sits next to you on the sofa. She supervises our cooking sitting on top of the bin in the kitchen.

She is confident enough to be in a household with children who know how to behave around animals - she would love a playmate, someone to chase with some string or ribbon (she does spectacular jumps!) but also someone who knows when to leave her alone and let her nap or reflect quietly. We would recommend children who are old enough to understand they can't grab/pull/frighten her.

Lexie definitely needs a home with a garden and surroundings where she can roam, so that she can safely go on the prowl and have her little adventures. We keep her in at night, which is lovely as she sleeps and purrs in bed and makes the perfect nap buddy.

We don't think Lexie is the kind of cat who can live with another cat.

Lexie has been spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and treated for fleas and worms

To see more of her please check out Lexie's own video and her photo album on Facebook.
