This stunning boy was rescued off the streets by a member of the public. We found out about him via one of our vets as we had a space to fill and one of our avenues of helping cats in need is veterinary practices needing to find rescue spaces for unclaimed strays.
The lady who found him kept him caged in a bedroom; sadly she was ill-advised by an organisation to keep him in a crate for three months! Having explained this is not the right thing to do the lovely lady agreed for us to take him in for rehoming.
At the moment, he is very frightened and timid; not feral but just nervous and not very trusting. He is beginning to let the staff at the cattery stroke him.
The vets have FIV/FELV tested, neutered and microchipped Joe and the finder paid for his first vaccination. We are looking for a child-free home. A quiet home with a patient owner to give him the space and time he needs to blossom into a friendly happy boy.
