Jasper
  •     Arrived 23rd June, 2021
  •     Fostered in Macclesfield
This lovely little compact and stout boy was found as a stray with a wound on the back of his neck; an Inspector took him to the Animal Hospital in Manchester for treatment (he was neutered and microchipped) then he came to us. He was nervous at first but it didn’t take him long to acclimatise!

He is such a clean, tidy and neat cat … very particular about his litter tray: "all hands-on deck, human, after I’ve used it, please!"

He likes to give head butts and is a good groomer. He is happy being picked up and held too!

A small-child-free home is best because he would run and hide. He is still on treatment for the open sore but it is healing nicely. He is desperate to go outside so we are keen to find him a permanent home asap!

Update 30th July:
Jasper is going outside, he likes to explore the long grass, and isnt spooked by car sounds or neighbour noises. He just turns his head in the direction of the sound. I can also cradle him, like a baby, and sit in a chair outside and he will just watch the world go by. He relaxes and when he had enough will give a little wiggle. He can stay that way for a good 10 mins.
Whilst not a lap cat, after his tea has gone down, you can cradle him, whilst watching TV, and you get lots of purrs and he loves his head being rubbed. Hes clearly been handled a lot.
