Nala & Kiara
  •     Tortie/White and Tortie
  •     Arrived 28th July, 2021
  •     Boarded at Rode Heath
Our darlings Nala and Kiara came along with about another ten cats that RSPCA Inspectors caught following the sad death of their reclusive owner.

It was approx. three weeks before it came to light. There were cat carcasses as well as a dog. They had been dead many months and decayed into nothing but skin and bone. This indicates the animals likely suffered prior to dying while the owner was alive. We do not know how these cats survived without cat food for that length of time; more information will be given.

On arrival, Nala and Kiara were underweight, they had sores on their skin, thinning fur, they were full of fleas and both needed dentals entailing a couple of extractions. They received the appropriate treatment and are now ready to restart their lives in a really loving home which they so deserve.

These girls are shy but friendly once they get to know you. Nala has started to play with a ball which is lovely to watch. They would be better in a quiet child free home with no other pets. We believe they were kept indoors but we’d like to find a home with a nice garden in a quiet area where we think they would like to feel the grass under their feet and the sun on their fur when they are ready to explore.
