Maui
  •     Arrived 9th September, 2021
  •     Boarded at Rode Heath

Maui has come into our care after his owner contacted us for help. He was very stressed in the home, causing problems between him, the elderly cat and the young children. He was spraying through stress and was behaving erratically. We’ve had him in our care for a few weeks now and he has not been spraying and has been so well behaved. His owner did take him to the vet for an examination prior to coming into our care which is the right thing to do when a cat’s behaviour changes – he was put on Metacam in case of any discomfort.

He was already fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped already by his owner, she took good care of Maui in that regard.

We too have taken him in for a health check and he is fit as a fiddle and now stress-free!

Maui is a bit wary if someone he doesn’t know comes into the building. He does need an experienced cat owner, an adult only home without pets.

He likes to play and just needs his energy channelling-after all he is a young active boy! He has a slow feeder, treat ball and other toys that he enjoys for enrichment and things to do. He is very affectionate once he gets to know you. Added to his energetic but lovely temperament he is a very handsome chap!
