Ruby came in with Molly and Bobby via an RSPCA Inspector. The owner was being evicted. Ruby has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. She had fleas and scabby skin. In the home, Bobby was always attacking Ruby so she is being rehomed separately.

Ruby was very shut down, she had scars and injuries from the attacks; she was in a sorry state. She is now litter trained. We have established that she only tolerates wet food as biscuits tend to make her ill or certainly the ones we’ve tried.

Her fosterer says: “I have to say Ruby is such a lovely cat to be around and she also likes to be around you too. She loves to play with or without you, she is very loving and likes to chill in the same room as you, say if you’re watching TV or reading. I was surprised how friendly she became when she came out of her shell and she really knows how to bring a smile to your face, such a little beauty!

“She will definitely need a claw post or two if you have carpets for when she gets a spring in her step. She loves to lie in the sun and if the sun isn’t available she’ll lay in the window where she can watch the world go by when you’re not home. You’d think she was much younger than 8 years old.”

She will need a pet-free home. Whoever adopts her will have a little beauty in their home!
