Bryony and Baxter
NOW REHOMED
Bryony and Baxter are now finally starting to look for their forever home together.
Bryony is Baxter's mom and aged around 18 months, Baxter is around 10 months old
Baxter had sore eyes when he first arrived early last year which initially seemed to improve with treatment.
As time went on though he kept having issues and each time he had medication things improved but as soon as the course ended things went downhill again.
One morning I woke to find his ear was sore and gunge was oozing from it . He also developed a head tilt at the same time.
Off we went to the vets again. At this point the vet realised that the issues with his eyes was actually from his ear but there had been no symptoms up until this time.
So he started yet more antibiotics and once again the same thing happened - while on the abs be seemed fine, as soon as the course finished the infection started again!
He has now been diagnosed with middle ear disease and has been on another months worth of a different medication.
The infection in his ear has left him with a head tilt and his eyes aren't as they should be - he looks cross eyed a lot of the time
Baxter only has a week or so left of his antibiotics then he'll head back to the vets for a final health check.
These two beauties are the most adorable little cats and whoever adopts them will fall in love instantly.
They need a strictly indoor home due to Baxter's head tilt (plus they are far too daft to be safe outside!)
A home without children is required due to the risk of them being accidently let outside.
You must realise that in the future there may be a possibility of Baxter developing a polyp in his ear which would require surgery - but there is equally the chance that this will never happen.
If you feel you could offer both of these gorgeous cats a loving and safe INDOOR home together please send your full address and contact number plus a little info about your home and family life so that a homecheck can be arranged.
We ask for a minimum donation of £75 for EACH cat or kitten.
All are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and upto date with flea and worm treatments
