SPECIAL EASTER APPEAL FOR OUR LONGEST RESIDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN WITH US FOR OVER 4 MONTHS. THESE KITTENS ARE GROWNG UP IN RESCUE AND DESPERATELY NEED A FOREVER HOME OF THEIR OWN - PLEASE SHARE
Safina and Dirk are looking for a home together. Safina is a pretty semi long haired 9 month old girl and Dirk is a handsome semi longhaired 10 month old male, both are neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. They have been flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Safina was handed into us after her owner could no longer care for her, she is a sweet little girl who love a fuss and is super playful and loving. Very sadly Safina suffered a trauma to her eye recently we thin probably from playing with her brother and sadly despite best attempts her eye could not be saved and she needed to have it removed. She is recovering really well though.
Dirk arrived with us several months ago with his 2 siblings, they had been born and were living rough in a garden so lacked the proper social interaction with people in those early weeks. Dirks foster mum has been working really hard with him and he now loves eating from your hand, particularly ham! He still isnt keen on touch, he will allow his foster mum to stroke him particularly when eating. This boy will continue to blossom but he needs lots of time and patience in his new home to help him to gradually relax. Pairing him with a more confident friendly girl will help him to achieve this as he sits and watches Safina enjoying a fuss and will learn that he can enjoy that too given time.
So this lovely pair are seeking a really special patient, calm, relaxed home who wont expect too much too soon and are willing to put the time in to help Dirk blossom into a loving cat like Safina. They will need a quieter home where they can have their own space if needed, they can happily live with other neutered friendly cats and have been used to a home with small cat friendly dogs. They need a home with no small children under the age of 12yrs.
The kittens are looking for a home with a nice safe garden WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS where they can play outside safely once fully settled.
Being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield to the right home.
Home offers subject to homecheck and an adoption donation of £140 for the pair.
