Tom

Tom was admitted as he was getting too much for his owners. He weighs over 8kg and has been very spoilt over the years and became rather demanding. He is very sweet with humans but can lash out without warning, although we have not seen this behaviour at the centre. Tom is not good with other cats or dogs, so a pet free home would be great for him. Tom needs to lose weight, so will need a family that will encourage him to be active through play, and keep treats to a minimum. He has been used to having access to the outdoors, so a home with lots of outdoor space where he can explore and climb and lose weight would be ideal.

Being overweight can cause health problems in felines, so it is important that his new owners understand that they will need to monitor his weight, and control his diet.
