YCR DURING CORONAVIRUS During the current lockdown period, YCR has made the decision to close our centre for adoptions. All the cats will be cared for in foster homes. If you would like to express an interest in a cat you see on the website, please email with your name, address, contact details and the reference number of the cat in question. We will speak to you about the cat and where possible will reserve the cat and then undertake a remote adoption when the cat is ready.
Hi there hoomans, it's me Lucky! I have come here to YCR after my owner sadly passed away :( I'm doing okay and currently I am living with a lovely foster family who are looking after me until I find my new furever home. I have claimed my favourite napping spots already! I love to sit on and under the sofa but also love a good snuggle on my foster mums knee or bed. I also like to 'help' while she is working from home..I'm not sure how much help I am but I think her colleagues enjoy seeing my bottom on her conference calls?! Another favourite spot of mine is the front room window-sill while I nosy out at the neighborhood cats. I am quite a modern cat too as I am familiar with face-timing and often have calls with my foster mums parents - aren't I cool?! I am not quite sure how I will take to other kitties but doggos and kiddies should be fine! Please speak to the hoomans if I sound like the chap for you x x
