YCR DURING CORONAVIRUS During the current lockdown period, YCR has made the decision to close our centre for adoptions.  All the cats will be cared for in either foster homes or by on-site staff/volunteers at the centre. We will speak to you about the cat and where possible will reserve the cat and then undertake a remote adoption when the cat is ready. PLEASE NOTE - there will be a considerable delay due to the current lockdown, we will try set up adoptions as soon as we can.

Hi there! I'm the lovely lass Twinkle and I have found myself here at YCR after sadly my hooman passed away :( I am very sweet and love attention but I'm also a HUGE fan of naps so I'm happy to be left whilst I dream away... I can also be playful when I'm not busy sleeping! My favourite toy is a ribbon! I was part of a multicat household so I should be okay living with other furries as long as they aren't too young and bouncy (I don't want my beauty sleep ruined). I have also made friends with the older children in my foster home (over 12). One important thing to mention is that I am very deaf so I am going to need a secure garden in my new home so that I am kept safe when I do go outside. I am still needing one more old age blood test before I go to my new home just to double check everything is okay! The hoomans here at YCR will explain what this means for my adoption so please get in touch if you have some questions. I've also just had a dental to take some nasty teeth out but I've fully recovered and I'm doing great! I would really love a retirement home where I can spend my last few years. Could that be with you? x x To adopt me please look for the blue adopt a cat button on our website, you'll need my name and reference number which is 068/21.
