Hiiii! Super handsome Simba here! I have come here to YCR after my previous hoomans were unable to keep me, you see, I am quite the character! I was taken from my mum a little too early in life which sadly meant that I missed out on socialisation that is vital for us kitties so that we learn how to be with you hoomans. I really realllyyyy love people! But sometimes I can love you too much that it bubbles over and causes me to be too rough with people... I don't mean to I promise, I just don't understand. I have been here for some time now doing lots of training and learning with my trainer and I am doing really well! I have been learning to go to my bed when I am asked to and also learning to 'boop' a finger that helps me to keep calm in situations that make me become overwhelmed. I am still Simba so I of course still have my times where I can't contain my excitement and don't always know how to let it all out so my new hooman has to be very very understanding of this and recognise the signs of when this is happening. I promise you, you are getting an amazing friend in me, I am such a loving boy with the biggest owl eyes who just wants to be friends even if I don't express it in the best way. I am still on the journey of understanding how to be this new Simba so please don't get frustrated if I don't always listen to my commands or give you a quick bop with my paw because I am still learning and always eager to do so!
