YCR DURING CORONAVIRUS During the current lockdown period, YCR has made the decision to close our centre for adoptions. All the cats will be cared for in either foster homes or by on-site staff/volunteers at the centre. If you would like to express an interest in a cat you see on the website, please email with your name, address, contact details and the reference number of the cat in question. We will speak to you about the cat and where possible will reserve the cat and then undertake a remote adoption when the cat is ready.

Hi there, Lizzy here! My sister and I have come to YCR after sadly our special person went to hooman heaven :( We are staying with a lovely foster family for now though until we find our furever home. Our main request is that we go to a new home together as we are good friends. My foster mum's exact description of me is equal parts cuddly lump and fearless lioness, so you're getting the best of both worlds! I will also do anything for a head scratch and I turn into a little lightning bolt when the string comes out to chase so make sure to stock up!
