O'Malley
YCR DURING CORONAVIRUS During the current lockdown period, YCR has made the decision to close our centre for adoptions. All the cats will be cared for in either foster homes or by on-site staff/volunteers at the centre. If you would like to express an interest in a cat you see on the website, please email with your name, address, contact details and the reference number of the cat in question. We will speak to you about the cat and where possible will reserve the cat pending our reopening.

Hi there, it's me the handsome lad O'Malley! I first came to YCR as I was living rough out there on the streets fending my myself until a lovely hooman brought me here! I've been on quite the journey but I'm FINALLY ready and on the hunt for my new furever home. There are a few things that I need to mention, so..I have had some teethy issues (gingivitis) in the past but now I have seen the dentist I'm doing a lot better. My mouth does still hurt sometimes and the hoomans aren't quite sure why but my jaw is a bit silly and seems to lock sometimes that can be uncomfortable for me. I will probably need to be on some medication for the rest of my life just to make me more comfortable but the peoples at YCR have said they will pay for these! You may have seen my age, I'm a slightly more mature kitty now which means my joints aren't quite what they used to be...so I am NOT a fan of my hips or back legs touching, but please don't let that put you off because I do still enjoy some fuss and strokes! Please speak to the hoomans if you have an questions about me x x
