YCR DURING CORONAVIRUS During the current lockdown period, YCR has made the decision to close our centre for adoptions. All the cats will be cared for in either foster homes or by on-site staff/volunteers at the centre. If you would like to express an interest in a cat you see on the website, please email with your name, address, contact details and the reference number of the cat in question. We will speak to you about the cat and where possible will reserve the cat and then undertake a remote adoption when the cat is ready.

Hi there hoomans, it's me Bella! Here I am back at YCR as sadly my new hooman was unable to keep me although he loved me very much :( But don't you worry about me! I have been living with a lovely foster family until I am ready to find my new home and I have been having the BEST time! I am superrr playful and bounce around just like a kitten! I do have to make you aware..sometimes I can get a little over - excited and don't quite realise that you hoomans aren't like us cats and can nip you...I promise I don't mean to and it's never in an aggressive way. I like to give you an odd lick on the hand and nose sometimes too..which can end in an affectionate nip.. I do enjoy some good head bumps and attention but again, I get very excited and it usually ends in a good play session! I'm sure with time my behaviour will improve so I am going to need a very understanding cat mom/dad who have had kitties before so you know how us kitties can be! I am not a particularly scared kitty but it did take me some time to adjust to my new surroundings in my foster home so it will take me a little time to get used to a new home but please give me time and I'm sure we can be friends!
