YCR DURING CORONAVIRUS During the current lockdown period, YCR has made the decision to close our centre for adoptions. All the cats will be cared for in either foster homes or by on-site staff/volunteers at the centre. If you would like to express an interest in a cat you see on the website, please email with your name, address, contact details and the reference number of the cat in question. We will speak to you about the cat and where possible will reserve the cat and then undertake a remote adoption when the cat is ready.

Hi thurrrr I'm big beautiful Tom! I've come to YCR as sadly I was wandering the streets as a stray, but I'm staying with a lovely fosterer while I look for my purrfect furrever home! My fosterer says that although I was quite shy to start with, I've settled now and I'm verrrry sweet and cuddly, I just adore sitting on her lap or sleeping next to her, but I'm not a huge fan of being picked up! Sometimes I like to play, too, but I decide when that is! Though I settled in well with my fosterer, I can get spooked sometimes, so I'd be best in a home without young children if you please! x x
