TILLY. REHOMED
GREAT NEWS:  TILLY IS RESERVED.  AN IDEAL HOME - QUIET AND LOVING.  LADY IS PREPARED TO WAIT UNTIL TILLY IS READY.

GREAT NEWS: OUR VET WAS VERY HAPPY WITH TILLY'S RECOVERY AND SHE SHOULD BE WELL ENOUGH TO BE HOMED (IN 3 -4 WEEKS). BUT CAN NOW BE RESERVED.

TILLY'S vet visit on Tuesday went really well. They were delighted with her progress - transformed after 2 weeks of Sally's loving care (See pic in our earlier post!). She had put on weight and is now 2.4 kilos. She was well enough to have her first vaccination - which was excellent. Our vet thinks she would be ready to go shortly after her second vaccination. So Tilly is ready to find her very special person and can be reserved. Tilly has really captured our hearts and is very precious so we will be seeking a really, really good home for her.

We think that Tilly is about 8 years old (possibly more). Given her past a quiet home with older home-based cat lover/s would be best for her (and no other pets). She is such a loving girl who really enjoys a fuss - which is why we think she will be a most rewarding, attentive and loyal companion kitty.

HISTORY
NEW ARRIVAL TILLY:A SACK OF BONES: THE MITZI group is an immensely positive group of cat lovers. Our cats come from all sorts of different situations - some greatly loved and given because of a housing crisis, a relationship breakup, a move abroad or into a nursing home. Some have had horrible pasts. BUT we don't dwell on that. Its a new start. We bring them into our care, we give them lots of love and attention, we feed them well, attend to their health, help them to regain their confidence and trust of people. Then we find them 5 star loving homes where they will be cherished, safe and well cared for

TILLY : Mitzi has just welcomed this cruelty case into her care. Abandoned to fend for herself, this sweet natured affectionate girl didn't have the 'killer instinct'. We think she managed one pigeon in 3 months. Instead she starved and barely survived on the occasional pouch from a kind cat lover. She came to foster mum, Sally, on Saturday. In all her many many years as a fosterer Sally had never seen such an emaciated cat - all she could feel were bones. Today we had her examined our vets at Milestone. Its touch and go, but we will do our very very best for her. Carefully build her up with good quality food. She is currently just over 2 kilos. We will weigh her regularly and update you on progress. She returns to the vet in 2 weeks. We will keep you posted.
