Bert
Bert came into ourt care a couple of weeks before Christmas, having been living on the street for several months at least. The person who called about him is pretty certain he was left behind when his people moved away. Not an unusual scenario, unfortunately. He's such a nice boy! Although he had been trying to get into people's houses, shoving their own cats aside, all he really wanted was a place to call home. HIS home. Right from the moment I placed him into one of our shleter pens, Bert has just been so happy, He particularly loves his radiator and lies on a pillow right next to it, soaking up the heat, whenever the temperature outside drops to something slightly less 20 degrees C. He also likes his grub and gives lots of big head butts in appreciation whenever the next meal arrives. In short - he's a darling. I wouldn't think there's be any problem with Bert being homed with children but would want the children from any possible adoptive home to come and meet him to be sure. As for dogs, he doesn't seem in the least bit concerned by either of the dogs here as they wander around the garden. Gorgeous Bert has had his first vaccinations and will be ready for adoption after he gets the second set and is chipped, which will be around the 17th of January.
