Alfie
Little Alfie is one of the three kittens born to Harriet (listed separately), the young cat taken along with ten others from a landfill site. Born in our care, Alfie and his siblings, Freddy and Aria, have been handled from soon after birth so are very confident in human company. All three of these kittens are cheeky and playful, an absolute delight to their mother who had very likely never been able to rear any previous litters on that dangerous landfill site. Alfie is the smallest of the three kittens, a little smaller than his sister Aria, but he's quite determined to get bigger than a silly girl. Al three have been having a lovely carefree babyhood causing delightful mischief but now it's time for them to move on and find homes with people who will ensure they continue to enjoy life and never experience the hardships their mother Harriet faced when she was a kitten and young cat. Now that he's had his vaccinations and been microchipped it's time for Alfie is ready to face the big world, or at least a corner of it!. We're hoping that one of this litter will be offered a home along with their mother, Harriet. Little Aria already has a home lined up so won't be listed here, so mum's companion could only be either Freddy or Alfie. That would be wonderful, but it isn't out of the question for them to be homed separately. We do like kittens to go to homes where there is company for them, though, especially when people are out at work all day, so homes where there is another resident (and accepting!) cat would be the preference. Like his brother and sister, Alfie does like to lend a helpful paw when I'm cleaning out their sleeping quarters and play area so could prove to be a useful addition to any household - especially if you're not in a hurry. Or too fussy.  A home with access to a safe outdoor space once Alfie was well settled and old enough to be allowed out, and once he's been neutered (which he isn't old enough to have done at this point) would be very acceptable to young Alfred.
N.B. At the moment the U.K. is still in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it is still possible to carry on the work of the charity without contravening safety guidelines. Potential new homes can still be visited, meeting either in the garden or street. Although some restrictions have now been lifted in England they don't yet apply in the rest of the UK and so people still can't visit any of the cats in their foster homes. All we can do for now is provide photographs and absolutely all information about each individual cat or kitten and then deliver the cat to his or her new family.
