Tiger
The photograph really doesn't do this lovely girl any justice. She was far too busy trying to give me big head rubs and kissing the camera to bother posing while her equally sweet but more camera-shy sister, Tootsie, sat behind her. A couple of lens cleansers later......and I'm still not happy with the photos but will get better ones at some point and update their posting. Both girls came to us very recently, their human friend suffering from a serious illness and now hospitalised. They've been together their whole lives and that's how they must stay. They've lost the only home and the only human they've lived with so it's just so important that they don't lose each other too. As they lived in a busy area, both Tiger and Tootsie have been kept as indoor-only cats but we feel they would really enjoy beginning to set paw outdoors once they've settled really well in a new home. Although used to living with just one person, the girls are both so sweet-natured they would probably fit well into family life although maybe very young children, who by nature tend to make high-pitched noise and move quite differently from older children and adults, might prove a bit scary. Both Tiger and Tootsie had already been spayed by their human friend but not vaccinated or microchipped. However, they were chipped and had their first set of vaccinations yesterday (and very well-behaved and brave girls they were), with their second set of vaccinations set for around July 16th. After that, they'll be all set to bring joy into another home.
