Griffin
HOME PENDING

Griffin is one of the four little kittens we brought into our care along with their mum when he was just about four weeks old. Of the four, he's the shyest although his foster mum Linda tells me his confidence is steadily growing because he knows her and her sister pretty well now and is becoming less worried about being fussed or picked up. Of course, moving on to a new family is a bit scary for these wee mites and especially for the shyer ones so it would be best if Griffin went with one of his siblings. Failing that, a home where there's already another young and accepting cat to play with would be a good alternative. A home with older, gentle, children would be fine but very young children, who do tend to move differently and make louder noises, could be too much for shy Griffin. It's amazing what difference a bit of time and patience can do with the less confident ones, just as with children really, so a home with kind, understanding, people is a must for this sweet-natured but shy wee lad. Griffin has had his first vaccinations and will have the second set on July 6th, at which point he'll also be microchipped and that will be him ready to go on to his Forever home. He'd also love a garden or some other safe outdoor space to explore once he's old enough to have had his neutering op and is very well settled in his new home.
N.B. At the moment the U.K. is still in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it is still possible to carry on the work of the charity without contravening safety guidelines. Potential new homes can still be visited, meeting either in the garden or street. Although some restrictions have now been lifted in England they don't yet apply in the rest of the UK and so people still can't visit any of the cats in their foster homes. All we can do for now is provide photographs and absolutely all information about each individual cat or kitten and then deliver the cat to his or her new family.
