METIS

Hi! Let me introduce myself, I’m Metis. I originally arrived at The Centre in May 2017 after being found living as a stray with my kittens. I was rehomed but have since been returned as I was getting distressed by another cat in the neighbourhood, who took a liking to terrorising me. When I first arrived here in May 2017 the staff noticed something wasn’t quite right with me, after some investigation the vets discovered that because of being a stray and not having a good diet, I was suffering from gut problems. Because of this problem I will be rehomed on a part foster basis where I can see the vet here for anything to do with my guts at no cost to my new owners. But this doesn’t cause me any issues in general, as long as I’m fed on a better quality diet with no dry food. The staff can explain more about this and what symptoms to look out for!!
I’m a sweet loving girl who can be a little reserved to begin with, and I may give a hiss but no harm is meant by this as I actually enjoy a fuss and will get all soppy. I’m not so much of a lap cat and not too keen on being picked up so would like to find a quiet home with a new owner who understands and accepts this. I’m looking to find my forever home soon, one I can really settle in to and grow old in, please consider adopting me if I sound like the perfect girl for you!!
