Hi there my name is Althea and I am the pretty little tabby girl you can see! I am 16 years old would you believe, I don’t think I look or act it!!
I arrived here in January 2020 as sadly my owner became too elderly to care for me anymore.I am a really sweet girl who likes attention and to sit on your lap, however I am very shy and it does take me a little while to get to know you and feel safe. Sometimes I do hiss when you first come in to see me, but please don’t let this put you off, I’m just scared and all I want is to feel safe and loved. Although I have no medical issues at present I will still be rehomed on full foster due to my age. 
Life here at The Centre is quite scary for me so I would really like to find my forever home soon with someone who will give me all the attention I deserve.
I would prefer a home with older or no children as I feel I would be best suited to a quiet and calm home.
