Hi there. My name is Joey Joe and I’m a 1 year old male. I came to The Centre in August as I wasn’t getting on with the child in my previous home. I have been a little bit nervous since coming into The Centre as it is quite scary here to start with. I am now settling in though and starting to show that I am actually a friendly boy who likes fuss and I will now come out of my bed if someone is in to visit me (especially if they have a treat bribe or two!). The staff are pretty confident that once I’m happy and settled in a home, I will really develop my confidence and become the super friendly boy they can see that I want to be! My new owners will need to be ok with the fact that when I do get a bit scared I can be a
little temperamental though. I can’t wait to find a home where I can settle in easily, and build up my confidence. I would prefer to live with older or no children and be the only pet.
