Neutered, chipped, vaccinated.
Arlo was once a feral kitten whom we trapped on a farm along with his sister Alexa and his mum Amanda.
He has changed a lot from the scared feral kitten we took in but he does still have a natural wariness which is very understandable given his roots. However I believe in the right home his natural cheekiness will come out more and he will soon have any new owner well trained to serve him as he should be in the manner of a cat.
But because he is wary I would advise a calm household with no small children or noisy disruptions. He should be OK with older children but they must be respectful of cats.
He dislikes dogs having encountered them as a kitten on the farm.
He is an INDOOR only cat although access to a secure catio or cat proofed garden is also acceptable but I will need to inspect that.
If you wish to meet any of our cats then we do ask people to read an information sheet before completing a questionnaire so we can assess potential adopters prior to any visit. We do expect people to be able to not only afford the adoption fee but be able to manage unexpected vet bills should emergencies arise. We also will ask anyone in rented accommodation to provide proof that their landlord accepts pets. We promote responsible pet ownership by having strict adoption policies.
